College Softball Bracketology: April 29

Selection Sunday is less than two weeks away as we hit the home stretch of the season. Before we jump into our college softball bracketology, a reminder: When the selection committee makes the bracket in May, they highly value RPI and the nitty-gritty. The seeding looks vastly different than our Top 25 poll. These metrics help pick the Top 16 seeds for regional hosting and the 33 at-large bids. The rest of the field is generated by 31 automatic bids from the various conferences. Every automatic bid aside from the WCC is determined by the winner of each conference tournament. The automatic bids in this were picked with a combination of highest RPI and conference standings.
