College Softball Outfielder Rankings: May 2025

Who are the best outfielders in college softball heading into May? We dive into the numbers for Softball America’s in-season position rankings. We also incorporate the eye-test and strength of schedule in our rankings. AUSL Golden Ticket recipients: Mississippi State's Sierra Sacco and Virginia Tech's Cori McMillan take hold of the top spots. Sacco has had a tremendous SEC slate and McMillan leads the country with 25 home runs. Florida State's Jahni Kerr, Idaho State's Ava Brown and Tennessee's Kinsley Fielder make their debuts.
