Oregon continues to add talented athletes to its 2027 class, but now has a hometown hero. Olivia Pompetti, an Oregon native and NW Bullets product, announced her commitment to the Ducks this week.

“Being from Oregon, Oregon Softball has always felt like home because of the wonderful players and coaches at the heart of the program,” Pompetti said. “The chance to get an amazing education, chase national championships with such special teammates and coaches, play at Jane Sanders Stadium in front of the best fans, and represent my home state fills me with so much pride. It’s a dream come true, and I’m so grateful Coach Lombardi and her staff have given me the opportunity to be a Duck!”

Pompetti is a strong defensive corner who has clean arm action and can move her feet well both laterally and vertically on bunts. She came up big this summer in clutch moments. She possesses solid power in her bat, with a consistent bat path, and has a high ceiling in her offensive game.
