More about The Georgia Impact Premier O’Neal
The Georgia Impact Premier O’Neal softball team has quickly risen as one of the premier 2027/2028 teams in the nation. With top-tier talent, a relentless work ethic, and growing interest from college coaches across the country, this group is setting a new benchmark for excellence in youth softball.
“This is one of the most exceptional teams I’ve ever coached,” says Head Coach Chad O’Neal. “The talent is undeniable, but what really sets them apart is their mindset, how hard they work, and how they represent themselves on and off the field. They’ve created a standard that’s hard to match.”
Coach O’Neal would know. This is the third team he’s guided from the 12u level through the recruiting process—and it may be his most promising yet.
The program’s rise began with a statement performance at PGF Nationals, where the team placed 5th in its first appearance at the 12u level. That early success set the tone. “After that tournament, I knew we had something special,” recalls O’Neal. “It laid the foundation for what we were going to build moving forward.”
Since then, Georgia Impact has continued to deliver, earning two top-10 PGF finishes and winning the championship at the prestigious Top Gun Invitational. These milestones didn’t just happen by chance—they set the program’s standard and helped shape its identity.
While some parents initially had concerns about the intensity of the team’s schedule, O’Neal stood firm in his vision. “There was some hesitation about whether it was too much, too soon,” he admits. “But staying committed to the bigger picture allowed us to attract the right kind of players and families—those who were all-in. That’s when the ‘rollover effect’ began, where each season built on the last.”

That long-term approach is now paying off. Just this past fall, players from the Impact Premier O’Neal roster attended more than 100 college camps, receiving attention from top programs coast to coast. “This group has drawn more Power 4 interest than any team I’ve coached,” O’Neal says. “Coaches are watching—and our players are meeting the moment.”
Strategic growth has been a hallmark of the program’s evolution. Most recently, the addition of several standout pitchers has elevated the team to another level. With elite velocity, command, and composure in the circle, these pitchers have added a new dimension to an already strong, defensively sound roster.
From national showcases to elite regional tournaments, the Impact Premier O’Neal team has consistently embraced the toughest competition—and come out stronger. The result is a battle-tested, close-knit group that knows how to win, how to adapt, and how to get noticed.
With a proven development model, a unified culture, and a roster full of future collegiate stars, Georgia Impact Premier O’Neal isn’t just making noise—they’re building something lasting. The legacy is already underway, and the best is yet to come.
