What is your favorite softball memory? 

Getting to the Elite 8 at the Alliance Fastpitch Champ Series

Who inspired you to play softball? 

My family inspires me in everything I do! They are my main support group and push me to be better every day!

Who is your favorite softball player? 

Past softball player: Bailey Hemphill- Alabama, recent softball player: Mia Scott- Texas

What life lesson has softball taught you? 

Softball has taught me to be humble in everything I do. It has also taught me that you cannot reach your dreams or get the things you want without hard work and knowing how to bounce back from failure.

What is your dream job? 

Orthodontist

Scouting Report on Centers:

Club Coach Mike Velotta: Jazzy is a very hardworking, max effort, analytical, humble softball player. I don’t know that I can say there is a more well-rounded, consistent player out there. She gets the job done at the plate, boasting a .432 lifetime career batting average. She holds third base down with body control that is unmatched. Her ability to be able to read the ball, situation, and individual batter’s skills is not typically seen in a 2028 player! She’s above her age in skill and strength.

Jazzy is a quiet but loyal, behind-the-scenes hype girl! She knows all the right things to say to her teammates to get them in the right headspace in their current situation. She is also a “lead-by-example” kind of player who will do exactly what is needed, when it is needed for the team! Off the field, Jazz is a student athlete maintaining a 4.0 GPA, while being a member of FCA, National Beta Society, and Interact.

She plays volleyball and softball for her high school team and excels in everything she does due to giving 100%, always! Her freshman year stats (combining Fall travel, high school freshman season, and summer travel) were outstanding. She had a .472 average with a .574 OBP, .894 SLG, and a 1.441 OPS. She had 103 hits with 25 doubles, 21 homeruns, and 86 RBIs. She walked 31 times, scored 58 times, and 44% of her hits were XBH. In the field Jazzy maintained a .976 fielding % making 208 successful plays out of 213! Great all around player who I know I will see on the big stage in the future!
