This upcoming weekend marks the beginning of the 2023 Under Armour All-America Next Football Camp Series. The first destination for this seven-camp series is Atlanta, with some top Alabama targets slated to be in attendance.

BamaInsider will be at this event, which will take place on Sunday at Carrollton High School. Defensive/offensive line will go from 8:00 a.m. Central until 10:30 a.m., linebackers and running backs will go from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., and quarterbacks/wide receivers/defensive backs will take the field from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Down below is a breakdown of which Alabama commits and targets will be participating.

Multiple five-star Alabama targets to participate in Sunday’s camp

As mentioned above, several key prospects on Bama’s radar will be at Sunday’s camp.

Headlining the group are five-stars KJ Bolden and Mike Matthews, both of whom are Georgia-based targets. Bolden recently informed BamaInsider of his expected time frame to return to Tuscaloosa.

Also in attendance will be defensive linemen Jeremiah Beaman, Jordan Ross, Malik Blocton, and Kamarion Franklin (No. 21 overall). Ross, who hails from Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills, and Montgomery (Ala.) Pike Road’s Blocton both collected an offer from the Crimson Tide last month.

States that Alabama has recruited the best in over the past five years

Daniel Calhoun, a top-five offensive tackle in his class, is set to compete at the UA Next Camp. Calhoun recently locked in an official visit to Alabama. Loganville (Ga.) Grayson High tight end Kylan Fox will be at the camp, but isn’t expected to participate as he’s rehabbing a torn UCL.

Fast-rising Mississippi-based athlete Kahnen Daniels, who recently spoke with us about his Bama offer, is also going to be at Sunday’s camp. Fellow recent offers Air Noland, Cam Pruitt, JJ Harrell, Jakob Gude, Jamonta Waller, and Terrance Hibbler will also be at this weekend’s event.

There are also a couple of prospects committed elsewhere who are on Alabama’s radar. Florida State running back commitment Kameron Davis and Georgia pledge Landen Thomas are both lacing up the cleats this Sunday.

Switching back to the state of Alabama, some noteworthy in-state recruits will also be at this coveted camp. Among that group are recent offer Bradley Shaw, Tuscaloosa-based defensive back Travaris Banks, wideout Cam Coleman, and running back Kevin Riley are all listed on the roster sheet.

2025 running back Alvin Henderson (No. 9 in his class), defensive linemen Jared Smith (No. 5) and Zion Grady (No. 7), and recent quarterback offer K.J. Lacey will also be in attendance.

Priority 2025 offensive lineman Mason Short out of Georgia is going to be at the camp as well. 2026 Bama quarterback offer Julian Lewis and standout 2027 quarterback Trent Seaborn (out of Thompson High School) will be there, too.

Pair of Bama commits expected to be in attendance

We would be remiss not to mention a couple of additional Alabama-based prospects who we’ll be paying close attention to this weekend: Ryan Williams and Sterling Dixon. Dixon is a member of Bama’s 2024 class, while Williams is the sole member of their 2025 class.

This will give us an opportunity to not only evaluate Dixon in person, but potentially see him at inside linebacker. Dixon put up video game-like numbers as an edge rusher last season, though Bama has discussed the possibility of playing a different position at the next level.

“I’m a dominant edge rusher,” Dixon told BamaInsider’s Andrew Bone this week. “That’s what I love to do, but they (Alabama) are saying inside (linebacker). I trust what Coach Saban thinks. Played a little bit of inside this past year, and I will primarily play that this year.

“I most definitely like it. It allows me to create problems. I can move sideline-to-sideline. I also have an easy match-up versus the guard.”

How will Dixon look in side-to-side movements on Sunday? Will he get the chance to show off his pass rushing skill set as well? Is he going to do a little bit of both at the camp?

These are going to be interesting areas for us to pay attention to with Dixon this upcoming weekend.

With Williams, his reputation already speaks for itself.

The elite sophomore out of Saraland High School in Alabama accounted for 42 touchdowns during his 2022 season. He hauled in 88 receptions for 1,641 yards and 24 touchdowns, while also rushing for 700 yards on 57 attempts and 15 touchdowns.

Williams won Mr. Football, as well as Gatorade Player of the Year honors for the state of Alabama.

Keep it locked in with BamaInsider next week to see highlights of Dixon’s and Williams’ performances, along with an in-depth assessment of how both commits and Alabama’s targets looked at Sunday’s camp.
