Where Alabama players are being projected in way-too-early 2025 NFL mock drafts
The 2024 NFL Draft ended less than a week ago, but already, mock drafts for next year’s event in Green Bay have started to flood the internet. Scribes pumping out way-too-early mock drafts for 2025 are predicting Alabama’s streak of first-round picks to continue.
The Crimson Tide had three first-round selections this past week in Detriot, which brought the Nick Saban era total to 44 first-rounders, while the 10 overall picks bumped the 17-year total to 133 overall choices. With JC Latham going to the Tennessee Titans with the seventh pick, Alabama has had a first-round selection in 16 consecutive drafts, an NCAA record.
Should these early looks at the 2025 event hold up, Alabama would further extend its streak. In the 10 mock drafts we compiled, at least one of Tyler Booker and Jalen Milroe were taken in the first 32 picks, and half had both players becoming first-rounders in a year. One even has Milroe going No. 1 overall, while another has three players in the top two rounds.
