5-star defensive lineman James Smith returning to Auburn on Friday

Five-star defensive lineman James Smith is returning to Auburn.
Smith, who is the On3 Consensus No. 1 defensive tackle in the country, will be back on the Tigers’ campus on Friday, according to multiple sources close to his recruitment.
Smith’s Friday visit will be his fourth to Auburn, according to his On3 profile. He was in attendance for the Georgia and Alabama games last fall and visited for Junior Day on March 19.

“They have a winning mindset,” Smith said after his March visit. “They really let me know what they want to do with their program and I feel like they’re going to do it.”
Smith’s teammate and close friend, fellow On3 Consensus five-star defensive lineman Qua Russaw, also visited Auburn on March 19 and returned last Saturday.

4-star DB Terrance Love visiting Auburn on Friday
Smith won’t be the only recruit in Auburn on Friday.
Four-star defensive back Terrance Love, one of the top recruits in Georgia, is scheduled to arrive in Auburn on Friday, according to sources.
Like Smith and Russaw, it will be Love’s second visit to Auburn this spring. He, too, visited for the March 19 Junior Day.
Love, from Langston Hughes in Fairburn, Ga., will be making his fourth total visit to Auburn, having visited in June, January, March and now April.
The On3 Consensus ranks Love the No. 168 overall recruit in the class and No. 18 in Georgia.
Auburn is believed to be the team to beat for Love. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) heavily favors the Tigers at 96.4 percent.
