Auburn baseball boasts No. 6 recruiting class according to Baseball America
AUBURN – Auburn baseball, which is coming off its second trip to the College World Series in three seasons, has the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class, according to Baseball America.
The No. 6 ranking is the fifth highest in program history, trailing only the No. 4 ranked class from 2017 and No. 5 classes from 1996, 2007 and 2016.
Thompson has now had his hand in four of Auburn’s top five recruiting classes and has secured 15 top-10 recruiting classes since 2003.
Highlighting the class are four top-100 recruits according to Perfect Game, trailing only LSU (six) for the most top-100 recruits to make it to campus.
