Auburn Football Recruiting Hot Board: Offense

Auburn has eight commitments in its 2023 recruiting class with four projected to play on offense.
Needless to say, there’s still plenty of work to be done before the early signing period begins in December. There’s also plenty of time.

What is left for Auburn on offense in the 2023 class? Who are the top recruits at each position and what are Auburn’s chances with them?
The Hot Board has the answers.
Below are who I believe are the top targets at each position and my guesses at Auburn’s chances of signing them. Keep in mind, the percentages are Auburn’s chances against the field.
Quarterback (1)
| Name | Hometown | Offer | Previous | Current |
| Brock Glenn (4) | Memphis, Tenn. | Yes | OSU/20% | 20% |
| J.J. Kohl (4) | Ankeny, Iowa | Yes | ISU/15% | 15% |
| Emory Williams (3) | Milton, Fla. | Yes | Miami/15% | 15% |
Quarterback isn’t a huge need in this class, but Auburn is working to sign one … the right one. The Tigers can afford to be more selective here with the commitment of Adrian Posse, a Class of 2024 four-star quarterback from Miami. Glenn remains the top priority, followed by Kohl and Williams. I wouldn’t be surprised to see all three visit Auburn for a game this season.
Running backs (2)
| Name (star rating) | Hometown | Offer | Previous | Current |
| Jeremiah Cobb (4) | Montgomery, Ala. | Yes | Auburn | AU |
| Roderick Robinson (4) | San Diego, Calif. | Yes | UCLA/20% | 20% |
| Isaiah Augustave (4) | Naples, Fla. | No | Arkansas/15% | 15% |
Auburn would like a bigger back in this class to compliment the speedy Cobb. Robinson is at the top of the list and is considering visiting for the LSU game. Auburn also is keeping an eye on Augustave, an Arkansas commitment, who is a bigger back like Robinson. Ideally, Auburn would like to sign a combo of Cobb and Robinson.

Wide receivers (3-4)
| Name (star rating) | Hometown | Offer | Previous | Current |
| Karmello English (4) | Phenix City, Ala. | Yes | Auburn | AU |
| Daquayvious Sorey (4) | Chipley, Fla. | Yes | Auburn | AU |
| Adam Hopkins (4) | Thomasville, Ga. | Yes | 65% | 85% |
| Khai Prean (4) | Belle Rose, La. | Yes | LSU/20% | 20% |
| Jalen Brown (4) | Miami, Fla. | Yes | LSU/20% | 20% |
Auburn has commitments from English and Sorey and would like to add a third before December. It could happen sooner than later. Keep an eye on Hopkins, the four-star from Georgia. He is scheduled to be on campus this weekend for an official visit. A commitment could come sooner than later.
Tight ends (1)
| Name (star rating) | Hometown | Offer | Previous | Current |
| Jelani Thurman (4) | Fairburn, Ga. | Yes | OSU/25% | 25% |
| Reid Mikeska (3) | Cypress, Texas | Yes | Miami/20% | 20% |
| Jackson Carver (3) | Culver, Ind. | Yes | Miami/20% | 20% |
| Brett Norfleet (4) | St. Charles, Mo. | Yes | Missouri/20% | 20% |
| Jayvontay Conner (3) | Kernersville, N.C. | No | Ole Miss | 20% |
| Khamari Anderson (3) | Detroit, Mich. | Yes | Cincy/15% | 15% |
| Ty Lockwood (4) | Thompson Station, Tenn. | Yes | Alabama/15% | 15% |
Auburn is looking for one tight end in the class, but likely will have to flip someone to make it happen. The Tigers are recruiting several and likely will get most, if not all, on campus this fall. Conner was on campus last weekend for the Mercer game.
Offensive tackles (3-4)
| Name (star rating) | Hometown | Offer | Previous | Current |
| Gernorris Wilson (3) | Lakeland, Fla. | Yes | 65% | 75% |
| Elijah Philippe (NR) | Scranton, Pa. (JUCO) | Yes | 45% | 45% |
| Bo Hughley (4) | Fairburn, Ga. | Yes | Georgia/40% | 40% |
| Isaiah Jatta (3) | Ephraim, Utah (JUCO) | Yes | S. Carolina/40% | 40% |
| Isaiah Robinson (4) | Arlington, Texas | Yes | Baylor/20% | 20% |
| Jatavius Shivers (3) | Villa Rica, Ga. | Yes | S. Carolina/20% | 20% |
| Tyler Johnson (3) | Natchitoches, La. | No | 15% | 15% |
Offensive tackle is a big need for Auburn in this class. The Tigers appear to be in a good spot with Wilson, who will visit for the Penn State, and are working hard to get at least one JUCO – Philippe and/or Jatta – and two more high school tackles to go with him. Auburn is keeping a close eye on several others who could be added to this list soon.
Interior offensive linemen (3-4)
| Name (star rating) | Hometown | Offer | Previous | Current |
| Bradyn Joiner (3) | Auburn, Ala. | Yes | Auburn | AU |
| D.J. Chester (4) | Conyers, Ga. | Yes | 50% | 50% |
| Clay Wedin (3) | Tampa, Fla. | Yes | Mich. State/35% | 35% |
| Sean Thompkins (3) | Newton, Ga. | Yes | Baylor/35% | 35% |
| Ian Geffrard (3) | Mableton, Ga. | Yes | Arkansas/30% | 30% |
| Connor Lew (3) | Kennesaw, Ga. | Yes | Miami/25% | 25% |
| Ryqueze McElderry (4) | Anniston, Ala. | Yes | Alabama/20% | 20% |
| Kelton Smith (4) | Columbus, Ga. | Yes | Georgia/20% | 20% |
Auburn has a commitment from Joiner and continues to look for at least 2-3 more interior linemen. Several of these guys are swing guys, guys who could project outside or inside.
