Coach Hot Board v.6.0 ]

The new Auburn Live Coaching Hot Board continues its evolution as information rolls on, and Auburn’s search for a football coach moves forward.

Auburn football shifted gears in a big way on Monday, as university president Chris Roberts fired Bryan Harsin.

Shortly after that, AU announced officially the hiring of John Cohen as Athletics Director.

Hours later, Auburn Live broke the news that running backs coach Carnell Williams would be the interim head coach for the remaining four games.

Now, it’s all about the football coaching search. We will continue to put out the Coaching Hot Board as new information warrants it.

*The goal here is to provide names with legitimate smoke (good intel that leads us to believe they are candidates) around them, according to Auburn Live. We aren’t going to give percentages, because that’s nearly impossible to know. We’re trying to provide names, context, and things to think about. If we feel there’s a leader or a pecking order, we will mention that.
