Auburn’s 10 most wanted non-portal recruiting targets (12-19 update)

For those recruits planning to send in Letters of Intent when the early signing period begins Wednesday, we’ve reached the homestretch of their recruitments. And with the big day now only two days away, Auburn remains heavily involved with several high-quality prospects — some uncommitted and others currently committed elsewhere. 

As of Monday, Hugh Freeze’s Tigers have 15 commitments and the No. 27 class for On3.

Today, we take a closer look at my 10 most important non-portal Auburn targets. Remember, this is my list — not Auburn’s. Also know that things are extremely fluid this time of year so intel and projections can change in an instant.

Tracking Hugh Freeze’s first Auburn football staff with hires, potential candidates

Hugh Freeze is in place, working throughout the week to evaluate the Auburn football roster and make decisions regarding his first coaching staff on the Plains. Auburn Live will monitor the coaching moves closely, updating our Coaching Staff Tracker when necessary.

During Freeze’s introductory press conference, this is what the new Auburn coach said regarding building his staff:

“I have a list of every position and a lot of great candidates. There are some here, there are some where I just came from, and they’re all around the country. I’m constantly getting texts,” Freeze said.
