Mississippi State transfer KeShawn Murphy lands with Auburn

AUBURN — Mississippi State transfer big man KeShawn Murphy has committed to Auburn.
He recently entered the transfer portal and was immediately a top target for the Tigers.
At 6-10, 245 pounds, Murphy will be one “big man” replacement for Johni Broome and Dylan Cardwell. Murphy is capable of playing the “four” or “five” position for the Tigers. Those positions are similar, as Murphy is an important interior addition for the Tigers.
Murphy will be a 1-year player for Auburn.
He averaged nearly 12 points, over seven rebounds and one block per game last season in the SEC. He just finished his third season with the Bulldogs.
