CLEMSON — College football win totals for the 2022 season have started to come out.

Clemson’s number for this upcoming season has been set at 10.5, according to BetOnline.ag. That means that if Clemson wins at least 11 games during the 2022 season and you bet the over, you win your bet.

If Clemson wins 10 games or fewer in 2022, then the under would be the correct side.

The Tigers have won at least 11 games during the regular season in five of the past seven years.

The only years Clemson didn’t were in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, there was only one nonconference game due to COVID-19 and the Tigers finished 9-1 during the regular season.

In 2021, Clemson started the season 4-3, before winning its final five regular season games to finish with nine wins.

The Tigers return 15 starters from last season, including nine on the offensive side of the ball.

Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, running back Will Shipley and receiver Beaux Collins are the top returning playmakers on offense.

Defensively, Clemson returns all four starters up front. Tyler Davis, Bryan Bresee, Xavier Thomas and Myles Murphy should lead the way on that side of the ball.

Win totals for Clemson opponents

In addition to Clemson’s win total, numbers are also out for several of the Tigers opponents.

Defending ACC Atlantic champion Wake Forest has a win total of 8.5. The Tigers will face Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 24.

N.C. State, which is a team many expect to challenge Clemson in the ACC Atlantic, also has a win total of 8.5.

Boston College’s number is 6.5. The Tigers will travel to BC in early October.

Florida State’s over-under is at 6.5, while Syracuse’s is down at 4.5

Notre Dame’s win total is 9.5. The Tigers will play in South Bend on Nov. 5.

Louisville’s number has opened at 5.5, while Miami’s is 8.5.

Clemson’s biggest rival — South Carolina — has a win total of 6.5 entering Year 2 under Shane Beamer.
