4-star WR names Florida Gators in Top 6

Milton (GA) Cambridge 4-star WR Craig Dandridge has been a stock up player this year. Offers have been pouring in since January, with the Florida Gators tossing their name into the ring earlier this spring when offering during a campus visit. Dandridge made his first cut to his offer sheet on Monday afternoon, naming a top six of Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Tennessee.
“I’ve narrowed it down to these schools for what they have shown with effort reaching out to me, relationships I have with the staff, the education the school can provide, the development I can get as a man and a player and which programs I felt at home at on my visits,” Dandridge told On3’s Steve Wiltfong regarding his finalists.
Florida extended an offer to Craig Dandridge earlier this spring
The 6-foot 1/2, 165-pounder made his first-ever visit to Gainesville in March. That was when Florida extended an offer to Craig Dandridge during a sit-down conversation with wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales.
“When we went down there, we talked about his mission and background,” Dandridge told Gators Online earlier in the spring. “What I could tell from his message to me and my family is that football is second. He’s going to build on the foundation that my parents give to the coaches. He is going to build on that foundation spiritually, mentally, physically, and overall as a man. He believes if he does that, the football aspect will come by itself.”

Dandridge also had time to meet with Florida head coach Billy Napier during his unofficial visit.
“It was a very chill vibe from him,” he said. “It was chill but intense at the same time. Some aspects he’s not as intense, but when it comes to the football aspect, getting things done the right way and how he wants it done, it’s very important to him.”
Florida isn’t on the visit schedule currently
Craig Dandrige has already used one official visit to date in his recruiting process. He was at Stanford the weekend of May 16. Next up will be the in-state Georgia Bulldogs on May 30. He will then take trips to Georgia Tech (June 6) and Tennessee (June 13). There isn’t a set Oklahoma official visit date locked in, but Dandridge will likely be in Norman on June 20. Florida is the only school that Dandridge is uncertain about when a date will fit. With his summer offical visit weekends filled, it seems unlikely one will materialize at this point.
The On3 Industry, a weighted average of the four major recruiting services, ranks Craig Dandridge as the nation’s No. 289 Overall player. Georgia is the current RPM favorite to land Dandridge with 41.6% chances. There have not been any RPM predictions logged at this time.
