BetMGM odds for Florida Gators-Ole Miss Rebels game revealed

The Florida Gators next Saturday will be underdogs for the sixth time this season. Heavy underdogs at that.
BetMGM, the official betting partner of On3, has made Ole Miss, whom the Gators face next weekend in Oxford, Miss., a 13.5-point favorite vs. UF. The over/under is 52.5 points.
Florida is just 3-6 vs. the spread this season.
Florida is coming off an embarrassing 38-7 loss to a Kentucky team that had three wins entering the game. The Gators were favored by 3 points. It marked Florida’s worst loss to Kentucky since 1950 (40-6). That UK team was coached by Bear Bryant.

The Florida Gators played their worst game of the season at Kentucky
The UF offense accounted for 247 yards. The defense was torched for 401. Starting quarterback DJ Lagway, who threw three interceptions, was pulled in the third quarter for freshman Tramell Jones. Meanwhile, the effort and energy seemed lacking at times.

“Obviously it wasn’t anywhere close to what we wanted,” UF interim coach Billy Gonzales said. “Not acceptable in any terms to take a loss the way we did, so we’ve got to get back, we’ve got to get back and look at the film and evaluate where we’re at, so kind of go from there.”
Florida now is 3-6 overall, 2-4 in the SEC. Ole Miss is 9-1, 5-1 in the SEC following a 49-0 win Saturday over The Citadel. The Rebels are very much alive in the race for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Of course, this game has added intrigue: Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin appears to be Florida’s top target to replace Billy Napier, who was fired Oct. 19 by the Gators. Last year, UF beat the Rebels in Gainesville, a loss that probably knocked Ole Miss out of the playoffs. Kiffin and his team will be out for revenge against a Florida squad that is coming off one of the most humbling losses for a Gators team in recent memory.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET Saturday.
