It’s official, former Florida Gators receiver Chimere Dike has signed with the Tennessee Titans. The team made the announcement Friday afternoon on X, the app formerly known as Twitter.

According to the Titans’ official website, “Dike, selected in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, becomes the eighth player from the team’s nine-player draft class to sign with the team.” Terms were not disclosed but per spotrac.com this is what Dike was projected to get with a four-year contract.

Total Value: $5,298,912
Average Annual Value: $1,324,728
Signing Bonus: $1,098,912

Dike was taken with the 103rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft after a strong senior season with the Gators. Dike led UF with 42 catches for 783 yards last season — both career highs — with two touchdowns in 13 games, making 11 starts. He recorded three games with 90-plus receiving yards.

“One glaring stat, Chim Dike increased his max velocity seven times in the offseason. He gained 11 pounds of lean muscle,” Florida coach Billy Napier said. “I thought his skill level went to a different level and thought he showed position flex. He played inside, played outside, the special teams value as a punt returner and a cover player.”

Per TennesseeTitans.com, Dike “played in 57 games with 42 starts over five college seasons at Wisconsin (2020-23) and Florida (2024). The Waukesha, Wis., native totaled 139 receptions for 2,261 yards and 11 touchdowns during his career. He also returned 26 punts and 20 kickoffs in college, averaging 11.5 yards per punt return and 23.6 yards per kickoff return.”

411: Receiver is not a roster strength for Tennessee and many expected the team to take one earlier in the draft. But instead, after drafting QB Cam Ward No. 1 overall, the Titans made defensive picks in the second and third rounds before selecting Dike. Tennessee feels like Dike can be a viable depth threat for Ward. The receiver room doesn’t look great on paper, so Dike should have an opportunity to make some noise in Year 1. And, he also has real potential as a returner.

What they’re saying: “Dike was never a top producer in college, with his 2024 numbers as his best marks. He is solid with the ball in hands after the catch (that 4.34 40 makes one pause) and should be a top punt returner option as soon as this season. I don’t know that Dike immediately meets the Titans’ receiver needs at WR3, but he can be helped by how he is utilized. You can understand, though, the idea of drafting the speed trait.” —The Tennessean
