Florida Gators announce 2025-26 non-conference schedule
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The defending national champs announced their nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday. Several marquee matchups are already publicized but the Florida Gators revealed more games and a pair of yet-to-be announced neutral-site contests, although both have been reported.
The opponents unveiled Tuesday include home games against Merrimack (Nov. 21), Saint Francis (Dec. 17), Colgate (Dec. 21) and Dartmouth (Dec. 29). Florida will reportedly play against Miami in Jacksonville on Nov. 16 and George Washington University in the Orange Bowl Classic (Sunrise, Fla.) on Dec. 13.
The Gators will face Arizona on Nov. 3 in Las Vegas to open the 2025-26 campaign before their home opener Nov. 6 vs. North Florida and the annual rivalry game against Florida State in Gainesville on Nov. 11. Following the Merrimack matchup, UF won’t play in the O’Dome for almost an entire month.
The Gators will have five straight away from home, including the Thanksgiving tournament in San Diego, the ACC-SEC Challenge at Duke, the Jimmy V Classic vs. UConn in New York City and the Orange Bowl Classic. UF closes out non-conference action with a trio of home games before SEC play starts Jan. 3.

Seven of Florida’s nine home SEC opponents were NCAA Tournament teams, including a Final Four rematch against Auburn and Kentucky’s return to Gainesville. The Gators will face UK twice next season as their rotational two-game series in addition to their annual permanent home and away series with Georgia and South Carolina under the current scheduling format.
Tennessee is no longer assigned as UF’s rotating two-game series and the Gators will host the lone regular season meeting vs. the Vols. Florida also hosts Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU and Mississippi State. UF travels to Texas for the first time since 1997 and Oklahoma for the third time (Jan. 2017, Dec. 2021) along with Ole Miss, Missouri, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
