Florida Gators basketball NCAA Tournament projections

For the Florida Gators basketball team, last week began with a route at home against No. 16 Alabama, but ended with a thud in Nashville against lowly Vanderbilt.
The Gators, a lock to make the upcoming NCAA Tournament, now enter this week’s SEC Tournament sitting at 21-10 overall and 11-7 in league play. That’s good for sixth in the final SEC standings.
Florida will play either Georgia or Missouri on Thursday. If the Gators win, then they’ll face Alabama. That potentially could be the first of three straight Quad-1 games in Nashville. And who knows, with another couple Quad-1 victories, Florida might end up with a pretty good seed in the NCAA bracket. Time will tell.
Per Sportskeeda, this is what qualifies as a Quad 1 victory: “A win at home against teams ranked 1-30, win at a neutral venue against teams in the Top 50 and an away win against teams in the Top 75.”
Here are some Florida Gators numbers as of Monday morning.
