After the Florida Gators’ first two games inside The Swamp, the team is on the road for its next two opponents. Florida will travel to Baton Rouge this coming weekend to take on the No. 3-ranked LSU Tigers. The following week is just as tough a road test, as the Gators will head to South Florida to play against the No. 5-ranked Miami Hurricanes. Over a week out from that week 4 matchup, the SEC announced kickoff times and broadcast channels on Monday.

The Florida Gators will play the Hurricanes under the lights

The direct kickoff time and channel for the Florida Gators-Miami game is to be determined, but it will be a night game in Hard Rock Stadium either way. The two rivals will play at either 7:00 p.m. ET on ABC or 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. The direct time and channel will be determined after the conclusion of the games on September 13.

The Florida Gators head into their first road game of the season against LSU with a 1-1 record. The Gators’ most recent outing was the team’s first loss of the season, with USF upsetting the Gators 18-16 after the Bulls hit a walk-off field goal to secure the victory. The Florida Gators were previously ranked No. 13 in the AP Top 25 poll before that loss, and dropped out of the Top 25 following the loss.

The Florida Gators trail in the all-time series against Miami by a margin of 30 wins compared to 27 losses. These two teams met in Gainesville to open the 2024 season, with Miami winning 41-17.
