Florida Gators players announced for SEC Media Days on July 16

Florida football players DJ Lagway, Jake Slaughter and Caleb Banks will represent the Gators next week at SEC Media Days presented by Regions, set to take place July 14-17 at the College Football Hall of Fame and Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Ga.
Lagway was a Freshman All-American after throwing for 1,915 yards and 12 touchdowns with a 6-0 record as a starter in the games he finished. Slaughter was an AP All-American First Team selection last season and led all SEC centers with a PFF grade of 82.0, which is the highest among the nation’s returning interior linemen in 2025. Banks had breakout performances in Florida’s final SEC wins over LSU and Ole Miss, earning SEC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week against the Rebels.
Florida will make its appearance on Wednesday, July 16 at 1 p.m. ET along with Alabama, Mississippi State and Oklahoma. This will be the third time since 2018 the Atlanta has hosted SEC Media Days. Dallas, Nashville and Atlanta have served as hosts the previous three years.
SEC Network will provide national coverage of the four-day event.
