GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The junior trio of Rueben Chinyelu, Alex Condon and Thomas Haugh will represent the UF men’s basketball team at SEC Tip-Off ’26 with head coach Todd Golden. The Florida Gators take the stage on Oct. 15 in Birmingham, Ala.

Portions of the two-day event will be aired on SEC Network. The UF women’s basketball team also appears at SEC Tipoff ’26 next Wednesday. Head coach Kelly Rae Finley will be joined by Laila ReynoldsMe’Arah O’Neal and Liv McGill.

Chinyelu, Condon and Haugh were Florida’s three leading rebounders from last year’s national title squad and are the team’s top three returning scorers. All three players decided to return to UF after considering the 2025 NBA Draft.

Condon averaged 10.6 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game and led the Gators with 49 blocked shots to earn All-SEC honors.

Haugh averaged 9.8 points and 6.1 rebounds and was the only Florida player to score in all 40 games during the 2025-26 championship year.

Chinyelu averaged 6.0 points and 6.6 rebounds with four double doubles. He became one of five players in UF history to make 40 starts in a season.
