On Monday, the SEC announced that Florida’s home game against Tennessee on Nov. 22 will kick off at either 3:30, 7:00, or 7:30 p.m. ET at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The final start time and TV network will be available after the Nov. 15 games.

Florida leads the all-time series against Tennessee 32-22, although the Volunteers have recently closed the gap after decades of Gator dominance. Tennessee claimed the most recent meeting, a 23-17 overtime win in Knoxville in 2024, snapping Florida’s streak in the rivalry.

The Gators controlled much of the series from the 1990s through the 2010s, but recent matchups have been more competitive as both programs look to regain footing in the SEC East.

The Florida Gators enters this weekend’s matchup against Ole Miss with a 3-6 record and 2-4 mark in SEC play, while Ole Miss sits at 9-1 and 5-1 in the conference, continuing its push for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The Gators continue to avoid the early slots this season, as they have not had a noon kickoff this fall. It’s expected that all of their games will be played in the afternoon or evening. This weekend’s matchup against Ole Miss is already set for a primetime start, and now the Tennessee game will also fall into one of the later windows.

After that, the only remaining game is the season finale against Florida State on Nov. 29. Overall, SEC games this season will fall into one of four designated time windows. Those are (Noon–1 p.m. ET), afternoon (3:30–4:30 p.m. ET), night (6–8 p.m. ET), or flex, a slot that can shift between the afternoon and night.
