Florida vs Florida State kickoff to be annouced at a later date

The Florida Gators wrap up the regular season at home against in-state rival Florida State on Nov. 29th. It will be senior day in Gainesville, and it will be the final game of the season for this year’s crop of Florida seniors. The SEC announced the broadcast schedule for week 14 of the season, with Florida’s matchup currently flexed and to be announced at the end of the week.

The Sunshine State Showdown has two kickoff options

According to the SEC, the Florida vs. Florida State game will either be at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2 or at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2. The direct time for kickoff is set to be announced following the conclusion of games taking place on the weekend of Nov. 22.

The Florida Gators are currently 3-7 on the year, and will host conference rival Tennessee this coming weekend before welcoming FSU to town the following weekend. Heading into this weekend’s contest against the Volunteers, the Gators ride a three-game losing streak.

The Florida Gators lead the all-time series against Florida State by a margin of 38 wins compared to 28 losses. The two teams have also tied twice in their history of playing each other. Florida won the most recent matchup against the Seminoles, beating them in Tallahassee in the 2024 season by a score of 31-11.

Florida State is currently 5-5 this season. The Seminoles are coming off a win this past weekend against Virginia Tech, and will hit the road this weekend to take on N.C. State.

The SEC schedule of games for November 28-29

Aside from Florida’s kickoff time, the SEC also released the complete schedule for teams in the league ahead of week 14.

November 28:

– Ole Miss at Mississippi State – 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC

– Georgia at Georgia Tech – 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC

– Texas A&M at Texas – 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC

November 29:

– Clemson at South Carolina – 12:00 p.m. ET on SEC Network

– Louisville at Kentucky – 12:00 p.m. ET on ACC Network

– Vanderbilt at Tennessee – 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC or ESPN

– LSU at Oklahoma – 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC or ESPN

– Missouri at Arkansas – 3:30 p.m. on SEC Network

– Alabama at Auburn – 7:30 p.m. on ABC
