The Florida Gators have named three standout starters as captains for Saturday’s game against the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida. And it’s a strong trio. This week’s captains are punter Tommy Doman, linebacker Myles Graham, and center Jake Slaughter.

Doman, a redshirt senior, transferred to Florida this offseason after spending his previous years at Michigan. He’s appeared in all three games, booting 10 punts for 451 yards with a long of 63 yards and five finishing inside the 20.

Graham is a talented second-year linebacker for the Florida Gators. He leads the Gators with 17 tackles (11 solo). Has made his way into opposing backfields four times, resulting in two QB hurries and two tackle-for-loss.

Meanwhile, Slaughter has started in each game of the season at center with an overall pass-block grade of 85.1, according to PFF

The Gators name different captains each game.

Last week, sophomore running back Jadan Baugh, senior kicker Trey Smack, and redshirt senior edge Tyreak Sapp served as the Florida Gators captains.
