Gators Online Show: Jon Sumrall impresses his first week on the job
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 165, we discuss the first week on the job for new Florida coach Jon Sumrall, who coaches his Tulane team in the American Conference championship game on Friday night.
To open the show, we discuss what we learned from Sumrall’s introductory press conference and our reaction to his initial days with UF, including two huge coordinator hires in DC Brad White and OC Buster Faulker.
We then breakdown Sumrall’s first round of signees for the 2026 class and his ability to retain almost all of Florida’s commitments. We also address roster retention for the Gators, including Jadan Baugh and DJ Lagway.
