The USF Bulls beat one ranked team last Thursday in their season opener but Vegas doesn’t think they will topple another one next weekend in The Swamp. BetMGM, the official betting partner of On3, has made the No. 15 Florida Gators an 18.5-point favorite over USF, whom they play host to at 4:15 p.m. ET on Saturday. The over/under is 54.5 points.

UF, 1-0, began the 2025 season with an easy 55-0 win Saturday over FCS Long Island University. Sophomore quarterback DJ Lagway, slowed early in preseason practice with a calf injury, started the game and finished an efficient 15 of 18 for 120 yards and three touchdowns. He’s now 7-1 as a UF starter. Lagway played just one half Saturday but the Gators should be tested more against the Bulls.

The UF running game produced 200 yards, 104 coming on only nine carries from sophomore back Jadan Baugh. He had one touchdown and a long rush of 26 yards. Meanwhile, the UF defense held LIU to a grand total of 86 yards and two first downs. Junior safety Bryce Thornton recovered two fumbles, returning one for six to kick off UF’s scoring in the first quarter.

Florida now owns a five-game winning steak dating back to last season. That is the longest in the SEC and is tied for the longest nationally with Air Force, Illinois, Memphis and Ohio State. The Gators haven’t won this many games in a row since the 2020 season.

BetMGM did not post a line for the UF-LIU game.

USF, also 1-0, will head to The Swamp feeling awfully good about itself and it probably should. The Bulls didn’t just beat No. 25 Boise State in their opener, they thumped the Broncos, 34-7.

That was USF’s first win over a Top 25 opponent since beating No. 22 Navy 52-45 on Oct. 28, 2016. Bulls quarterback Byrum Brown accounted for 210 yards passing and 43 yards rushing, with two scores.

Florida leads the all-time series with USF 3-0. But the Gators won the last meeting just 31-28 in 2022.
