Initial injury report: Caleb Banks status revealed for Florida vs. LSU
The Florida Gators issued their initial availability report Wednesday night along with LSU. It’s the first of four injury reports that will be released before the Gators (1-1) face the No. 3 Tigers (2-0) on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ABC.
Not included on the initial report was UF defensive lineman Caleb Banks, who is on track to play Saturday against LSU. He missed the first two games but has practiced this week, Florida coach Billy Napier revealed on Wednesday night.
“Caleb Banks is a force. One of the best defensive linemen in the country,” Napier said. “I think we’ll see where he’s at. He’s been able to practice this week, it’s been a good week. And then tomorrow, Friday, game day. So, I feel good about him.”
The Gators have six players out for the SEC opener, including freshman wide receiver Dallas Wilson. Here is Florida’s initially availability report for the LSU game.
The Tigers have one player out in defensive tackle Zion Williams and three players listed as questionable receiver Destyn Hill, tight end Trey’Dez Green and offensive lineman Braelin Moore.

Moore, LSU’s starting center, went down with a lower body injury on the first play from scrimmage against Louisiana Tech, while Green suffered a right MCL sprain in the fourth quarter.
“I think we have him listed as probable. If not, I’ll double check. Maybe he’s questionable, but he did practice yesterday, and we expect him to practice today,” LSU coach Brian Kelly said of Moore on Wednesday.
