Another standout Gators receiver out for Kentucky game

The Florida Gators issued their initial availability report on Wednesday night, along with Kentucky. It’s the first of four injury reports that will be released before the Gators (3-5, 2-3 SEC) face the Wildcats (3-5, 1-5 SEC) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
The Gators have three players listed as questionable and 13 out for the Kentucky game, including starting wide receiver Vernell Brown III. The freshman standout suffered an AC sprain in the Mississippi State game and missed the Georgia game this past week. Florida wide receiver Aiden Mizell has been a regular on UF’s injury report this season and was listed as questionable on Wednesday. Freshman running back Duke Clark was also listed as questionable.
Gators Online previously reported that freshman Dallas Wilson suffered a foot injury in the loss to Georgia and would miss the remainder of the season. As expected, he’s listed as out.
Some new names on the Florida Gators’ initial injury report on Wednesday include a pair of veteran wide receivers in Eugene Wilson III and Taylor Spierto. The Gators are also projected to be without a pair of linebackers, with Grayson Howard and linebacker Ty Jackson listed as out. Defensive back Michael Caraway Jr. is another name listed as out.
Other previously injured Florida Gators that remained on the availability report as out include defensive lineman Caleb Banks (foot), running backs Ja’Kobi Jackson (undisclosed) and Treyaun Webb (hamstring), EDGE LJ McCray (foot), and defensive backs Aaron Gates (shoulder) and Dijon Johnson (knee).
