Florida WR and D-lineman cleared for Texas A&M game

The Florida Gators issued their updated availability report Thursday night along with Texas A&M. It’s the second of four injury reports that will be released before the Gators (2-3, 1-1 SEC) face the No. 5 Aggies (5-0, 2-0 SEC) on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
UF got good news on the injury front with redshirt sophomore receiver Aidan Mizell and freshman defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou. Both players have been cleared to play against Texas A&M and removed the availability report after being listed as questionable on Wednesday.
Mizell has been dealing with a lingering injury, missing the opener against Long Island and the Miami game. He made three receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown at LSU and then started against the Longhorns, catching four passes for 19 yards. He has nine receptions for 77 yards this season.
Mbatchou missed the Texas game with an undisclosed injury. The Gators still have five players listed as questionable for Saturday: running back Ja’Kobi Jackson, tight end Tony Livingston (questionable), offensive linemen Roderick Kearney (questionable) and Devon Manuel (questionable) and wide receiver Muizz Tounkara (questionable).
Six UF players have been ruled out for Texas A&M, including a new addition to the availability report this week. Freshman running back Duke Clark served as the No. 2 running back against Texas with Jackson out, but he left the game with a shoulder injury.
