Florida will host Tennessee under the lights in The Swamp

Heading into their upcoming match-up, Florida leads the all-time series against Tennessee 32-22. However, the Volunteers have recently closed the gap after decades of Gator dominance. Tennessee claimed the most recent meeting, a 23-17 overtime win in Knoxville in 2024.

The Gators controlled much of the series from the 1990s through the 2010s, but Tennessee has sprinkled some wins in recent seasons. However, the Volunteers have only won 9 times in this series since 1990.

It’s been quite some time since Tennessee has won in The Swamp, with the Volunteers last win on the road agaisnt the Florida Gators happening in 2003. Tennessee heads into this upcoming matchup coming off a win against New Mexico State. Florida on the other hand, has three-straight losses, with their latest coming at the hands of Ole Miss, 34-24 in Oxford. Tennessee is 7-3 on the year and ranked No. 23 in the country, while the Gators are 3-7.
