Live Blog: Florida Gators 80, George Washington 70
The No. 18 Florida Gators snapped a two-game skid Saturday with their 80-70 win over George Washington at the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Fla.
Up 30-27 at the break, UF opened the second half with an 11-0 run and pushed the lead to 20 with another 10-2 run. The Gators then went 4:57 without a field goal before they snapped the drought with a 7-0 run to go back up by 18.
Xaivian Lee led the team with a season-high 24 points and Thomas Haugh finished with 19 points. Boogie Fland also scored 12, all in the second half.

George Washington (8-4) was Florida’s eighth KenPom top-100 opponent, the team’s most in regular season nonconference action since 2017-18.
