Live Blog: Florida Gators 82, Miami Hurricanes 68

The No. 10 Florida handed rival Miami its first loss of the season on Sunday in Jacksonville. Four Gators scored in double figures: Alex Condon (19 points), Thomas Haugh (17), Rueben Chinyelu (16) and Urban Klavzar (15), who had career high off the bench.
UF pulled ahead by double digits late in the first half and was up 39-29 at the break after a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Haugh. The Gators pushed the lead to 17 points with a 14-3 run and led by as many as 19 in the final two minutes of the game.
Florida had to overcome starting bigs Condon and Chinyelu both fouling out with over five minutes to play, along with 7-foot-1 center Micah Handlogten leaving in the first half after taking a shot to the head and not returning to the game.
Chinyelu posted his second straight double-double with a team-high 12 rebounds, including four on the offensive glass. Florida (3-1) won the rebounding battle 47-41 and committed just four second-half turnovers after 10 in the first half.
Sunday was the first meeting between Florida and the Hurricanes (3-1) since the 2019 Charleston Classic. The Gators have now posted wins against FSU and Miami in the same season for the first time in 20 years, last doing so in 2005-06.
Here are live updates from Florida’s win over UM.
