SEC announces TV times for four Florida Football games in 2025

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Four game times and television designations for the Florida Gators’ 2025 schedule were announced Thursday by the SEC and ESPN. UF will open the season with a night game in The Swamp.
 
Florida welcomes Long Island to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Aug. 30 and kickoff will be at 7 p.m. on ESPN+/SEC Network+. The Gators will then host South Florida on Sept. 6 at 4:15 p.m. on SEC Network.
 
On Sept. 13, the Gators open SEC play at LSU at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. The annual Florida-Georgia rivalry game will take place at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville on Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
 
The remaining game window designations for the 2025 season will be announced on June 11.

Sept. 6 – South Florida – 4:15 p.m. – SEC Network
Sept. 13 – at LSU – 7:30 p.m. – ABC
Nov. 1 – vs. Georgia (Jacksonville) – 3:30 p.m. – ABC

2025 opponents for UF

In addition to their matchups against Long Island and South Florida the first two weeks of the 2025 season, the Gators’ other non-conference opponents will be Miami (Sept. 20) and FSU (Nov. 29).

Florida is hosting Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas next year for its three SEC home games. The Gators also will be the home team against Georgia in Jacksonville. 

Florida’s SEC road games will be trips to LSU, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Ole Miss. The Gators will have open dates on Sept. 27 before Texas and Oct. 25 before Georgia.
