Scouting Report on Jaden Robinson
Robinson stands at 6-foot-1, 220-pounds, with room to grow once he reaches the college ranks. Throughout his high school film, Robinson plays both safety and linebacker for Columbia High School in Lake City, Florida.
Robinson is a headhunter on the field who finishes plays with aggression and force. The Lake City talent blows up ball carriers, often forcing fumbles. Extra yards are never allowed by Robinson, as his strength shows off in short-yardage scenarios.
The rangy prospect has solid lateral speed, allowing him to make plays from sideline to sideline. He shows off coverage ability in the flats and in the middle of the field.

The next step for the newest Florida commit is to stick to a dedicated position, which will allow him to blossom as a prospect. Robinson keeps contain at all costs when at linebacker, forcing ball carriers to the rest of the defense. While he finishes plays effectively, Robinson can be a step behind in diagnosing pass versus run plays, given his differing assignments depending on the position he plays.
Given Robinson’s lateral speed and big-hit ability, he could be a significant addition to the 2023 class. Not only does the senior make big plays on defense, but he also contributes as a special teams player, which could prove effective once he enrolls in Gainesville.
