Them Gators ain’t dead yet. Not at all.
On the brink of elimination at the College World Series, the Florida baseball team went berserk at the plate Sunday in a 24-4 Game-2 blowout of LSU to stay alive and force a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday.
Florida’s run total set a CWS single-game record. The Gators recorded 23 hits Sunday, including six homers. Ty Evans and Jac Caglianone belted two home runs each.
