Social Slant: Twitter reacts to Wyatt Langford going No. 4 in the MLB Draft
Florida Gators star outfielder Wyatt Langford will be a Ranger.
Texas selected Langford No. 4 overall on Sunday in the 2023 MLB Draft. He led the team in 2023 with a .373 batting average this season, totaling 21 home runs, 57 RBI, 83 runs and 88 hits.
Langford, a native of Trenton, Fla., became the second highest-drafted player in program history.
Some thought he might go No. 1 overall. Others thought No. 3 was a possibility.
