The Florida Gators, who beat LIU 55-0 last Saturday in their season opener, on Tuesday came in at No. 13 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25, a poll of select college football journalists. That’s up two spots from the preseason poll. Some of the poll voters ranked Billy Napier’s team in the top 10, some toward the back end of the Top 25 and some not at all. Here’s a closer look inside the rankings.

The voter who ranked the Florida Gators highest

No. 5: Koki Riley, Baton Rouge (La.) Advocate: Riley went from one extreme to the other. He had the Gators unranked on his preseason ballot. Who does he have No. 1 this week? That would be LSU, which beat Clemson, his preseason No. 1, on Saturday.
