Wisconsin receiver Chimere Dike picks Florida Gators

GAINESVILLE, Fla — The Florida Gators picked up a commitment from former Wisconsin Badgers receiver Chimere Dike, who will reunite with his former quarterback, Graham Mertz.

In 2022 Dike had a breakout season with Mertz as his quarterback. He hauled in 47 passes for 689 yards and six touchdowns all from Mertz.

Dike joins a receiver room that lost Mertz’s favorite target, Ricky Pearsall. However, Florida does bring back a bevy of talented young skill position players in Eugene Wilson, Andy Jean, Aidan Mizell and Marcus Burke.
