2028 WR Aiden Opore an early name to know after Georgia offer

Marietta (Ga.) Walton 2028 wide receiver Aiden Opore’s recruitment is off and running. Georgia joined the race last week with an offer for the 6-foot-3, 185-pound wideout. Opore made an impression in his camp workout in Athens this week.
Georgia wide receiver coach James Coley extended an offer to Opore in person after the workout in Athens.
Georgia has immediately climbed toward the top of Opore’s board. Opore has watched Georgia a lot growing up. The opportunity to play at the next level, close to home, is an intriguing proposition for Opore.
“I’ve always had a strong interest in Georgia because I have lived here my entire life,” Opore told DawgsHQ. “I wouldn’t be far away from family.”
Georgia’s winning pedigree is also a major selling point for Opore. NFL development is also a major selling point for Opore when it comes to Georgia.

“The program has a history of winning while preparing players for the NFL and a future after football,” Opore said.
Opore is a long way away from a college decision. Georgia is one of the first handful of offers on Opore’s table. He expects the Bulldogs will be there until things get really serious sometime next year.
He has them near the top early on.
“I’ve been following Georgia for a while, and my recruitment is still early, but they will definitely be high on my list of schools,” Opore said.
