4-star EDGE Khamari Brooks officially signs with Georgia
Bogart (Ga.) four-star edge Khamari Brooks is officially a Georgia Bulldog. The local commit signed with Georgia on Wednesday, the opening of the early signing period.
The Bulldogs beat out Alabama to land the No. 102 overall prospect in the 2026 Rivals Rankings. Brooks was high on Georgia’s plan to develop him. The Bulldogs also win. Brooks has won a lot in high school. He was a part of state football championship team as well as two basketball state championships at local North Oconee High School.
Georgia’s outside linebacker coach, Chidera Uzo-Diribe, made it clear that Brooks was the edge prospect he wanted in the 2026 class. Georgia has only landed one edge commit in the cycle to this point.
Brooks felt like a priority throughout the recruiting process.
“Georgia is special to me because, you know, they win,” Brooks told DawgsHQ back on June 23. “That’s really the thing. I’m already winning (in high school). I wanted to be able to go to a place where they win. Ever since Kirby’s been there, they’ve won. They came out in the SEC Championship every year.”

“All the talks we had when I went up there, I’ve been on campus 20 plus times and every time I come up there, he’s like, yeah, come on, man, come watch practice,” Brooks said after his commitment. “I feel like the way that he recruited me in the process, he let me know that I was that guy.”
The four-star will enroll in January.
Brooks missed the last half of his senior season with a hip injury. He expects to be healthy by the time Georgia hits the practice field in the spring.
