Arch Manning's visit to Georgia underway

Georgia’s biggest visitor of the weekend is confirmed as having landed in town per a post on social media. The nation’s No. 1 prospect, Arch Manning, was featured in a post from running back target Justice Haynes on Instagram.

Manning was also featured in a post with multiple Georgia commits and the running back target and Georgia legacy in Haynes’ Instagram.

Manning is Georgia’s top visitor on campus this weekend, though he’s joined by a host of other stars and a surprise addition.

The young Manning, from the quarterback dynasty family of the same name, is an On3 Consensus Five-Star plus prospect for the Class of 2023.

He is among thirteen visitors that the Bulldogs have on campus this weekend for official visits.

There’s some clear affection when it comes to Manning and the Bulldogs.

It was a point he opened up to On3’s Sam Spiegelman about in early May:

“I love coach Kirby (Smart), and he’s a real normal guy, a great coach. Georgia, the takeaway from practice there, is that they have athletes all over the field, especially on the defensive line. They have some studs and it shows; they had 15 players drafted. Athens is probably the best college town I’ve ever been to. The coaches are all good people, they know how to win, know what it takes, and it was cool seeing that.”

Manning continued, with his take on what he’s looking for in a program:

“I think you want to be surrounded by good people and somewhere you want to be for four years,” Manning said. “I think it’s not all about football, but I guess that’s a big piece. You just want to be somewhere that feels like home, and I’m excited I get to look at all these great schools.”
