Georgia freshmen Dontrell Glover and Bo Walker were arrested on Friday, each charged with theft by shoplifting at the east Athens Wal-Mart. According to the Athens-Clarke County Police report, they are accused of stealing 13 items totally approximately $94 before tax.

The list of items includes a variety of air fresheners, Febreze, paper products, foam disposable plates, pizza roles, and gatorade. The report states that Walker and Glover told officers that they “must have lost track of what items were scanned between the two.” They identified themselves as Georgia football players, too.

A Wal-Mart loss-prevention officer claims that the two were stopped with the items and one of them, after initially walking back into the store, ran out of the front entrance. That individual returned to the store shortly thereafter on his own accord.

A separate loss-prevention officer informed Walker and Glover that they were banned from the store for two years. The ACC police were dispatched to the location and charges were pressed because of the amount, which was stated to be “approximately $100.”

Wal-Mart attempted to refund the paid-for items back to the EBT card that the two Georgia players used to purchase them, but it was unable to complete the refund.

Glover has started the past 10 games for Georgia at right guard while playing in all 13 games this season. He has been named a freshman All-American by On3Sports and to the Freshman All-SEC team by league coaches. Walker has been a reserve running back this season, breaking out in a blowout win over Charlotte with three rushing touchdowns.

Both were booked into Athens-Clarke County jail on Friday evening. Walker was booked around 5:30 p.m. ET and Glover approximately 25 minutes later. The two were released roughly two hours later on $1,500 bond each.
