Georgia is bringing in a big tight end class for 2026, three players to be exact. The guy who has been committed the longest, Lincoln Keyes, is officially a Bulldog. In fact, Keyes is the Bulldogs longest-tenured commitment in general for the 2026 class.

The program announced the Saline High School (Saline, Mich.) standout around 8:15 a.m. ET on Wednesday, the first day of the NCAA’s early signing period. He put his name on the dotted line after being committed to Georgia for over a year. Keys joined the class as a pledge back in November of 2024.

At 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, Keys is ranked as the nation’s No. 179 overall prospect and No. 8 tight end. He’s the No. 4 overall player in Michigan.

A number of Big10 schools, including Michigan, made strong pushes for the talented tight end. Keyes, however, stayed strong in his commitment to Georgia.

“It’s home,” Keyes said. “There’s no place better than Georgia. I went a good amount of places before I committed and every time I get back down there, it gets a little better. There’s nowhere better than Athens and Georgia. I feel like my relationships with the coaches, that’s the place that’s going to take me to the next level.”

It wasn’t long ago that Keyes was viewed by most as a three-star prospect. He climbed his way into four-star status and eventually into the top 200 recruits in the country. He considers himself the type of person that feeds off doubt.

“I’ve always felt like people doubt me a lot,” Keyes said. “I have a tattoo about haters. My dream school was always Michigan. I always wanted to play at Michigan. My room was full of fatheads with Michigan stuff. I started getting recruited and they overlooked me. I worked out and didn’t get offered. Every other school I worked out at I got offered. Georgia was one of the first big schools that saw my potential and skillset.”

Georgia is also expected to sign five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro on Wednesday, the state of Georgia’s all-time leader in receiving touchdowns. He could also play wideout. The Bulldogs reached into Big10 country for its other tight end commitment, too. Four-star prospect Brayden Fogle is from Ohio.
