Georgia adds former player and double legacy, Jaden Hunter, to defensive staff

Over eight years after signing with Georgia, Jaden Hunter is coming back to continue his young coaching career. The former Westlake High School football standout announced Saturday that he is coming back to Athens as a defensive analyst.
Hunter is the son of the late Brice Hunter, one of the greatest wideouts in Georgia history. His mother, Brandi Decker, played basketball at UGA.
Jaden Hunter signed with Georgia in it’s 2017 recruiting class, Kirby Smart’s first full class as the Bulldogs’ head coach. He was four-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 108 overall player. He was also the No. 12 linebacker in the class and the No. 11 player in Georgia.
He redshirted at Georgia in 2017 before seeing action in four games in 2018. He then spent the next four seasons at Western Kentucky, taking care of the 2020 season, which didn’t count toward his eligibility due to COVID-19.
