Georgia announces signing of 3-star LB Elijah Littlejohn
It wasn’t long ago that West Charlotte (Charlotte, N.C.) linebacker Elijah Littlejohn was Big 10 bound. Now the three-star defender is officially part of Georgia’s 2026 class. The Bulldogs announced him as a signee just before 9:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday.
Littlejohn is the first inside linebacker to ink with the Bulldogs in the current class after giving his commitment to Kirby Smart and Glenn Schumann less than two weeks ago. The pledge came approximately five weeks after he de-committed from Penn State.
At 6-foot-2, 215 pounds, Littlejohn is the nation’s No. 415 overall prospect and No. 31 linebacker per the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that includes all three websites that publish recruiting rankings. He’s the No. 19 player in North Carolina.
As a junior, Littlejohn put up impressive numbers. He tallied 84 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, 24 quarterback hurries and broke up two passes in just seven games. His senior season saw him wreak the same type of havoc on opposing offenses, tallying 55 total tackles, 24 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and 22 quarterback hurries.

“It was very great seeing the way that they coach, they coached me up,” Littlejohn said following a recent UGA visit. “They were showing me what I could get better at. I loved it…He has a great personality, honestly. What makes him stand out is that he can coach me up. Everyone can coach me up, but he’s on a different level.”
Georgia is expected to sign at least one more inside linebacker in the 2026 class. Four-star prospect Nick Abrams announced on Tuesday that he has shut down his recruitment and will sign with the Bulldogs despite a push from Michigan.
