Georgia men’s basketball has added four commitments from the transfer portal and that number includes its most recent signee, former Cal guard Jeremiah Wilkinson. The Power Springs, Ga. native has inked with the Bulldogs per a release from UGA Sports Communications.

Wilkinson was Mike White’s first transfer addition this offseason after playing his freshman year at Cal. He was the ACC’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2024-2025, averaging a little over 27 minutes per game. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 15.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game for the Golden Bears.

The 2024-2025 season also saw him reach double digits in points and impressive 25 times. He reached that number 18 times in 20 ACC games per the release from Georgia and he averaged 16.9 points in the final 28 games of his freshman season.

“Wilkinson ranks among Cal’s most productive freshmen ever,” UGA’s statement reads. “His 10 20-point outings is the second most ever by a Golden Bear behind only Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Among Cal freshmen, he also ranks No. 3 in scoring average (15.1), No. 3 in 3-pointers (60), No. 5 in free throws (110) and No. 6 in field goals (157).

“Wilkinson played his junior and senior seasons of high school basketball for The Skill Factory in Atlanta. As a senior, he averaged 33.5 points, 5.2 boards and 4.8 assists while leading TSF to a 27-4 record. As a junior, Wilkinson averaged 13.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists for TSF, which finished 20-9.”

In addition to Wilkinson, Georgia has added a three of guards and a forward. Ex-Wofford sharp shooter Justin Bailey committed to the Bulldogs shortly after Wilkinson. Then came ultra-talented forward Kanon Catchings, who, like Wilkinson, is entering his sophomore season. Catchings spend last season at BYU.

Georgia has also added former St. Mary’s point guard Jordan Ross, a Utah native, to the roster as well as UTEP point guard Smurf Millender.
