Georgia has wasted no time working to reshape its roster following the end of the 2025 season last weekend in the regionals. The college baseball transfer portal opened on Monday.

Georgia has already landed three new pieces via the transfer portal. The Bulldogs have filled a few needs with these moves.

Seattle University two-way star Kenny Ishikawa committed to the Bulldogs earlier this week. The Yokohama, Japan native began his college career at Asia University in Tokyo before making the move to Seattle University.

Ishikawa hit .318 with eight home runs. The .318 batting average led the team. Ishikawa is also a left-handed pitcher. He had a 4.21 earned run average in 2025.

Georgia added to their lineup in hopes of replacing the production of Ryland Zaborowski and Robbie Burnett. New Mexico outfielder Jordy Oriach also announced his decision to transfer to Georgia. He will have one more year of eligibility.

Oriach hit 16 home runs in 2025. He hit .388 and struck out 29 times in his 214 at-bats in 2025.

Georgia also added to its pitching rotation, in New Orleans starter Grant Edwards. The Walker, Louisiana, native will have one more season of eligbility remaining. Edwards was New Orleans’ Friday-night starter in 2025.

Edwards has a 4.23 ERA; he struck out 92 batters and had 29 walks in 2025.
