It’s Georgia – Florida week, and you know how big of a deal that is if you’re a Dawg or a Gator. The only thing is, Georgia’s spread vs Florida is even bigger.

In fact, the 22-point favorites currently hold the largest point spread in the series since 1995.

The Dawgs also hold the series record over the Gators, 54–44–2, if you ask a Georgia person.

Florida will tell you the Dawgs only won 53. How can you not love that animosity of College Football and the Cocktail Party?

Even basic facts can’t be agreed upon.

One thing the DawgsHQ crew can guarantee: This week’s Georgia – Florida kickoff edition of The Georgia Show is worth a watch and/or listen.

You can subscribe on our YouTube channel (we are surging toward the 1,000 subscriber checkpoint if you’d like to help us get there).

Or, the show is also available on podcast platforms for Apple and Spotify users.

One big story coming into Georgia – Florida: Can Jalen Carter get healthy?

Our comment section asked this question as we held court on the show Sunday night.

I don’t know the answer, and we’ll see what Kirby Smart says. But I don’t know if Smart will divulge that information just yet.

What’s more, I don’t know that the Dawgs necessarily need Carter against the Gators.

They will need him against Tennessee in a couple weeks.

Maybe it’s in all of Georgia’s best interests for Carter to rest up one more week before that showdown with the Vols Between the Hedges.

We shall see.

Other major topics on the show: Well, there’s a new 2023 4-star CB commit, for starters

DawgsHQ recruiting insider Jake Reuse joined us to not only talk Georgia – Florida, but to offer up his insights about the Dawgs’ latest commitment on the recruiting trail, Chris Peal.

You can watch Peal’s highlights here, and check out every breakdown of his game and commitment to the Dawgs on his On3 database page.

We also dove deep into just how much Georgia fan can expect Peal to play as a freshman – and at which positions – based on what Jake Rowe and Palmer Thombs have seen with Kirby Smart’s secondary rotations this fall.

Smart loves his DB’s. It appears the Dawgs got another special one.

Thanks again for listening and supporting The Georgia Show.

We’ll be back live, as we always are, at 8:30PM ET this Wednesday night on our YouTube channel.

We also fire it up immediately after each Georgia game goes final. Can’t wait for this one.

Even though the Dawgs are huge favorites, Jacksonville can get kind of spooky around Halloween each year…

Wonder what will happen at Georgia – Florida this time?
