WATCH: Georgia releases 'Eat Off the Floor' hype trailer

After four straight home games to start the 2023 season, Georgia is hitting the road in week five to defend its back-to-back National Championship. The Bulldogs will take on Auburn in the 128th playing of The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.
In an effort to get fans fired up for the road trip, the Georgia video team has released it’s newest hype trailer and it’s named after one of the team’s mantras this offseason — “eat off the floor.” The 57-second feature is narrated by head strength coach Scott Sinclair and features sound bites from Kirby Smart, the late Larry Munson, and others.

Georgia has won six straight games against its oldest rivalry, a streak that started with the Bulldogs 28-7 win over the Tigers in the 2017 SEC Championship game. UGA has won nine of its last 10 against Auburn and the SEC Western Division rival has scored 14 or fewer points in each of those nine losses.

Auburn’s last two wins, however, have come in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Bulldogs are favored by 14 points as they hit the road for the first time this season.
“Getting ready on the road for the first time this season,” the Georgia head coach said earlier this week. “Road SEC tests are always difficult, there’s no way around it. I mean, any conference when you go on the road, it’s always a test. It’s a test of focus, patience, endurance, composure, all the qualities you need to be a good team, so we get our first one. Going to Auburn, got a lot of respect for Hugh [Freeze] and the job he’s done everywhere he’s been. He’s really been successful. Very bright. He does a great job with his team and they’re playing really really hard right now and got a lot of guys transfers in, that have added to their depth and they’re doing a really good job playing extremely hard and I know the environment we’ll be going into will be extremely tough.”
